Jayda Coleman is a professional softball athlete and the #3 overall draft pick to the Utah Talons, making her one of the most exciting young players in the sport today. She previously played for the OKC Spark and currently represents the United States on Team USA.
One of the most decorated athletes in Oklahoma softball history, Coleman was a dynamic leadoff hitter and elite defender who helped lead the Sooners to four consecutive NCAA national championships (2021–2024). She is a four-time NFCA All-American, earning first-team honors in 2021 and 2022 and second-team honors in 2023 and 2024.
In her senior season, Coleman posted a .394 batting average, a team-best .532 on-base percentage, and 68 runs scored — continuing her reputation as the game’s most electric table-setter. She is also widely known as softball’s “home run robbery queen” for her highlight-reel defensive plays in the outfield.
